Big Green Egg is the most popular kamado BBQ made of the very best ceramic.
When we were asked to develop visual assembly instructions for this top brand, we didn’t hesitate for a moment. Of course with the condition that we were also allowed to test our instructions ourselves. No sooner said than done.
The challenge
No 3D CAD models were available for the USA-developed Big Green Egg. Creating illustrations without CAD models is often inefficient. How to handle this?
The solution
To create the instructions, we first brought the various models to the office. Here we measured them and converted them to detailed 3D CAD models.
After this, we mapped out the roadmap and visually laid out the instructions step by step. The result: an IKEA-style Big Green Egg manual.
